​Honorary Awards

​APS honors individuals who have made significant contributions to the science of plant pathology or to the society itself. We invite you​ to familiarize yourself with the various APS awards and nominate someone whom you feel deserves special recognition and is reflective of the APS core values and overall diversity within APS.​​​​

2024 APS Aw​ard Ceremonies

The award ceremonies​ will be part of Plant Health 2024​. The Fellow award ceremony is on Sunday, July 28 during the Opening General Session and the Excellence and Named award ceremony is on Tuesday, July 30 prior to the Plenary Panel Session.

Call for Award ​Nominations

• Award nominations for 2025 are accepted through December 1, 2024.
  
• The APS President​ will notify those receiving an APS award late February or early March. 
  
• The award announcement is featured in either the May or June issue of Phytopathology News.​
  
• A​​ward ceremonies take place during the APS annual meeting.
  
• Review award criterias and nomination instructions prior to submitting your nomination.
