Outreach Programs

APS recognizes young people are the scientists, policymakers, and practitioners of the future and need to be included in​ OPRO's outreach efforts. In an effort to engage with teachers and students one-on-one OPRO has focused its efforts on:

• APS booth at Future Farmers of America (FFA) Show​
• APS booth at the National Association of Biology Teacher's Annual Meeting
• APS YouTube Channel, featuring collection of plant pathology videos
• Plantingscience.org, an online mentoring program in which APS is a sponsor
