This year’s annual meeting is another opportunity to sow, know, and grow with your plant pathology colleagues from across the nation and the world. Join us in Cleveland, Ohio, U.S.A., August 3–7, for an incredible program. This is your opportunity to:

Registration for all attendees (excluding Single Day registrants) includes:

  • 3.5 full days of scientific sessions and poster sessions including well known, highly respected invited experts and the most recent science taken from the best technical abstract submissions.

  • Cleveland Rocks! Celebration Night (ticket is included in registration!)
  • Unlimited networking opportunities with your international colleagues

Single Day registration includes entrance to the technical sessions and exhibits on the day of purchase only. The Welcome Reception and/or the Cleveland R​ocks! Celebration Night are included if you choose to purchase registration on the day that ticketed event is held. You cannot register for multiple single days.

*Requires faculty endorsement to validate eligibility for discounted rate. During the registration process, you will be required to provide the full name, email address, and phone number of your faculty endorsement. APS will reach out to the faculty listed to verify eligibility. If we are unable to verify eligibility for this rate by July 6, 2019, you will be automatically charged the full registration rate for your membership class.
**Each exhibiting company (single booths) receives one complimentary registration. Double booths receive two complimentary registrations. The fee for each additional exhibitor is $550/600/650.

***Students registering with the Student Registration PLUS option must have a faculty member sign if registering by mail or fax. If registering online, the full name and e-mail address of the appropriate faculty member must be provided to qualify.

Oral and Poster Presenter Registration Deadline

Every presenter of an oral presentatio​n or poster abstract MUST register by May 17, 2019 or the abstract will be withdrawn from the meeting.

Guest Information

Guest registration is not required. However, attendees wishing to bring guests to the Welcome Reception and/or Cleveland Rocks! Celebration Night must provide their Guest's full name and purchase tickets in advance during the registration process. Limited quantities will be available for purchase onsite. 

Guests must have a name badge and ticket to attend ticketed functions. Guests do not have access to the scientific sessions, posters, or exhibit hall. ​

Co-workers and business associates are not considered guests and must pay registration fees.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

Meeting cancellations MUST be made in writing and received no later than June 27, 2019. Cancellations received by this date are subject to a $75​ processing fee; any guest tickets purchased will be fully refunded. Registration and ticketed event cancellations received after June 27, 2019, are NOT subject to a refund. APS reserves the right to cancel the meeting if a sufficient number of registrations are not received by June​ 27, 2019. If APS cancels this meeting, your registration fee ​will be refunded in full. In the event APS cancels this meeting, APS is not liable for nonrefundable airfares or ticket change penalties imposed by the airlines. By registering for this meeting, you agree to the cancellation and refund terms and conditions.​

Attendees from O​utside the United States

The United States has updated its visa policies to increase security for citizens and visitors, so the process of applying for your visa may have changed from the last time you applied or may take longer. Please visit the U.S. Visa website for official information. The Department of State encourages ​you to apply for your visa as soon as possible. Some consulates may have backlogs in scheduling visa interviews, so applicants should contact the consulate to find out how long the wait is for an interview. Visa wait times are available at https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en.html.​

Expected Behavior Policy

We ask all attendees, exhibitors, speakers, sponsors, volunteers, guests and other participants be considerate and respectful to all members and refrain from demeaning, discriminatory, or harassing behavior and speech. Please note, if you register a guest for the meeting, you may be held responsible for the actions of the guest. Violations of this policy should be reported to meeting staff.

APS reserves the right to remove any individual from attendance or other participation in any APS sponsored event without prior warning or refund, and to take additional action as determined necessary, up to and including expulsion from participation in APS.​​
