Orders
Prices are calculated in U.S. dollars.
After an order is placed, an order confirmation will be sent immediately via e-mail. When an order is placed for a new title that is not yet in stock, the credit card will be charged at the time the order is placed, and the title will be automatically shipped during the month stock is received at headquarters.
Payment:
Pre-payment is required on all online orders.
Orders may be placed in this online bookstore or you may choose to place your order by phone, fax, or mail.
Orders accompanied by a check or money order may be mailed to the APS PRESS address above. Include title, item number, and shipping address. Make checks payable to The American Phytopathological Society in U.S. funds through a member bank of the U.S. Federal Reserve System.
Universities in the U.S.A.:
Universities in the U.S.A. may be billed. We must receive a purchase order via fax or mail with requestor's name and department, contact name, and phone number. Orders from universities placed online must be placed with credit card payment.
Proforma Invoices and Quotes:
You may request a Proforma invoice or quote by contacting Customer Care.
Shipping and Handling
All shipping and handling charges are calculated automatically online. Resellers and bookstores need to call Customer Care for a shipping and handling quote.
United States:
Standard Shipping (UPS Ground) is $13 per order plus $1.75 per pound with delivery within 5 to 7 business days. *If you would like next day service, please call APS PRESS Customer Care for rates.
Canada, Mexico, and Puerto Rico:
UPS Standard Ground delivery is $27 per order plus $11 per pound with delivery within 5 to 7 business days. Any duties and taxes, where applicable, are the responsibility of the customer.
Outside the U.S.A. (including shipments to Guam)
: UPS Worldwide Expedited delivery is $38 per order plus $25 per pound with delivery within 7 to 9 business days. Any duties and taxes, where applicable, are the responsibility of the customer.

Return Policy
We will accept a return if you are dissatisfied with any APS PRESS product as long as we get the product back in resalable condition within 30 days of your receiving it. Please include the original invoice number and date of purchase and specify the reason for the return. Shipping charges are nonrefundable except in the case of a damaged or defective product. A claim on a damaged or defective APS PRESS product must be made within 10 days of your receiving it. A damaged product will be replaced with the identical product in the proper condition.

Tax
Tax is calculated automatically online. If you have a tax exempt number and would like to use it you cannot order online. Please call, e-mail, fax, or mail in your order to APS PRESS Customer Care to receive your tax exemption.
Minnesota Residents:
Sales tax will be added to all orders shipped to Minnesota.
Maryland Residents:
Sales tax will be added to all orders shipped to Maryland.
Canadian Residents:
Goods & Services Tax (GST) and/or Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) will be added on all orders shipped to Canada. Any duties and taxes, where applicable, are the responsibility of the customer.
International:
Any duties and taxes, where applicable, are the responsibility of the customer.
Discounts
All applicable discounts will be calculated online and will be visible in the sales total of your order. Your credit card will be charged once the order is placed online.
APS Member Discount:
Current APS members receive a 10% discount on their APS PRESS orders. The discount will be taken off the subtotal.
Reseller and Bookstore Discount:
Resellers receive a 20% discount. Contact Customer Care to set up a resellers username and password to place your order online via credit card.
Quantity Discount for Educators Ordering for Students:
APS educators qualify for a 20% discount off the list price on all in stock titles used for teaching. To receive the discount, you must order direct from APS, specify the course name, and purchase a minimum quantity of ten copies of each title. Quantity discount orders cannot be placed online, please contact Customer Care.

Free Instructor Copy If You Adopt:
Educators in the USA:
You may review books for consideration as course material. Examine them free for 60 days with no obligation to purchase. You will receive the book along with an invoice. If you choose to keep the book, but not adopt it for your class, simply pay the invoice. To evaluate titles free of charge:
If you choose to adopt the book for your class, keep the book compliments of APS PRESS when you write “Complimentary Desk Copy” on your invoice and return it with a photocopy of your bookstore order or bookstore acquisition request for 10 or more copies of each book.
If you do not choose to adopt the book for your class and you do not wish to keep the book for your personal use, simply return it in resalable condition and your invoice will be cancelled.
Educators Outside the USA:
You will initially pay for titles you wish to evaluate. If you choose to adopt the book for class, e-mail or mail a photocopy of your bookstore order or bookstore requisition form for 10 or more copies of the textbook and APS PRESS will issue a full refund for your evaluation copy. If you decide not to adopt the book for your class and you do not wish to keep the book for personal use, simply return the book with a copy of your invoice within 60 days of the order date and write cancel on the invoice. You will receive a refund for the price of the book.
