Call for Abstracts (abstract submission is now closed)

You are invited to submit abstracts for the 2013 Southern Division Meeting Meeting. The SD-APS program will consist of of both oral and poster presentations. Abstracts must be submitted online (see instructions below).  The $45 fee applies for your abstract to be published in a Phytopathology supplement issue and will be collected when you register for the meeting. New this year is a $35 additional fee if you have a poster presentation. In order to avoid grammatical mistakes in the published abstracts, authors should have their abstracts reviewed by colleagues in their departments.  We encourage students to participate in the competition - please check the box "This paper is for the student paper competition" in the online submission form. Here are the instructions for submitting your abstract:

1) Go to: http://abstracts.apsnet.org
2) Enter Username and Password (call APS Headquarters toll free at 1-800-481-2698 if you have forgotten it or need assistance)
3) Click Submit/Edit/Review Abstract
4) Click on APS Southern Division 2013 Meeting
5) Scroll to the top of the page and start with entering the contributor information
(also verify that your name and ID number appear at the top in bold)

If you are not a current student member of APS, you must register via phone, fax or e-mail to receive the $50 discounted student rate.
