​The Office of Education (OE) is seeking a webinar series acquisitions editor to serve on the OE board as a voting member for a 3-year term.

​Coralie Farinas shares her experiences as an early career intern on the Public Policy Board (PPB). The 2-year internship offered a variety of opportunities and activities to learn more about science policy.

The APS African Division, the first new APS Division in more than 30 years, was launched during its inaugural business meeting on August 18. The meeting was held virtually and was attended by 185 participants from 29 countries.

​The very first virtual APS Pacific Division Meeting was held June 16–18. The program included two days of scientific presentations, online professional development opportunities, and opportunities to interact with plant pathologists working in industry.

​The Phytopathology assistant feature editors are shining a light on graduate student researchers who have recently published in Phytopathology. Best Student Paper Awardee Xiaohua Du, Hunan Plant Protection Institute, Hunan Academy of Agricultural Science, Changsha, China, received the 2020 award for her first-author research article.

​The latest volume of Plant Disease Management Reports (PDMR) is now complete with 202 new reports.
