​Graduate Student Travel Grants

A $750 travel grant may be used to support travel to the APS Potomac Division meeting or the APS Annual Meeting. Eligible applicants are required to be currently enrolled in a graduate program within the Potomac Division or be conducting their thesis research at a research facility within the Division.

Application Requirements

  1. The student's curriculum vitae -maximum of four single-spaced typed pages, 12-point font
  2. A one-page letter outlining why the meeting would enhance his/her professional development
  3. A letter of support from his or her major advisor. 

All application materials must be uploaded as one .pdf file to the Potomac Division Graduate Student Travel Grant Submission Portal by March 1, 2024. If you have questions contact Nina Shishkoff.
