2009 APS Annual Meeting Information for University Department Heads
Alumni Socials
The Alumni Socials will again be combined with the Opening Reception and Exhibition on Sunday, August 2, 2009 from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. in the Exhibit Hall. APS will be providing light hor d’eurves and one drink ticket per person for those attending the Opening Reception.
- Departments choosing to host an alumni social at this event must complete the form by April 1, 2009 (see the meeting website under “Program and Events”). These departments will each have an area within the exhibit hall for your use during that evening. (Note: this will not be a draped off area as in the past, it will instead be groupings of tables within the hall assigned to each requesting alumni group.) There is no charge this year to secure an area within the exhibit hall for your social.
- Departments have the option to buy drink tickets for their group through APS. Ordering food through APS is NOT an option this year as food is provided for all at the Opening Reception.
