APS's premier event, the APS Annual Meeting, attracts more than 1,500 participants each year. It's where the latest information on plant pathology in unveiled, where you'll have the opportunity to participate in symposia and discussion sessions, present research results, view hundreds of technical posters, attend special events, learn about new products and services, and connect with others who share your interests. APS divisions give attendees the opportunity to meet with colleagues in their geographic areas to exchange ideas and share information. Most divisions sponsor their own yearly divisional meetings.
Throughout the year, various topical meetings are held to provide a platform for exchange on hot topics in plant pathology. These meetings range from 2-3 day in-person meetings, to online interactive symposia. Important disease topics such as Soybean Rust, Karnal Bunt, Potato Late Blight, Exotic Forest Pests, Plum Pox and Sudden Oak Death have been covered and continue to be archived as a valuable resource.
