On the cover: Tomato bushy stunt virus (TBSV) mediated expression of 13-glucuronidase (GUS) in two different host plants. Leaves of Nicotiana benthamiana (left) and Chenopodium amaranticolor (right) were assayed for GUS activity (blue color) five days after inoculation with TBSV RNA in which the coat protein gene was substituted with the GUS gene. The figure illustrates the localization of virus even before symptoms are visible and it shows the effect of differences in host response on virus movement.
