Welcome to the Careers 101 Committee's educational resource, tailored to support plant pathology professionals as they embark on their careers by offering insights into the job search process. Our three-part series, featuring CV's 101, Networking 101, and Interviews 101, is designed to complement teaching agendas. Each module within this series includes engaging presentations, interactive workbooks, and a range of instructional tools, empowering educators to independently facilitate these programs and equip students with the skills needed to excel in the job search process.

CVs 101:

The curriculum vitae (CV) is essential to every job application, but its format and organization can vary significantly depending on the position. Whether you're pursuing a career in academia, industry, or government, a professionally crafted CV is crucial. This workshop provides educators with comprehensive materials to assist students and early career professionals in creating and customizing CVs tailored to different position types. Break-out sessions will offer opportunities for small group discussions and hands-on activities.
