New Journal Issues Online
Recordings from ICPP2018 concurrent, keynote, and plenary sessions have been posted on the ICPP2018 program website. Click in to the session you would like to view, or search for it based on a keyword or presenter name. The recordings are open for all to view! 
The deadline is September 7 to submit your ideas for special sessions, field trips, and workshops at Plant Health 2019, the next APS Annual Meeting.
Memorandum of Understanding - APS and SIPaV
APS and SIPaV sign MoU in Italy
APS President-Elect Lindsey du Toit and Italian Phytopathological Society (SIPaV) President Lodovica Gullino signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Italy this week for enhanced collaboration and opportunities of mutual benefit. A joint APS–SIPaV session on emerging and re-emerging plant pathogens was also held during the SIPaV Congress.
OIP Global Experience Program
Apply to work with scientists and extension personnel in developing countries on training and outreach efforts. Applications for the Office of International Programs (OIP) Global Experience Program are due December 1, 2018.
Nominate a Colleague!
Nominate a colleague or indicate your own interest to serve as vice president or councilor-at-large on the APS Council. Nominations are due November 30, 2018.
Annual Meetings Board
The Annual Meetings Board is looking for a new member with expertise in molecular plant-microbe interactions. This volunteer will contribute to planning the scientific program of the APS Annual Meeting. Please email 1–2 paragraphs describing your interest to join by the end of the day Friday, September 7.
The 59th Meeting of the APS Caribbean Division will be held May 6–10, 2019 in Meliá Marina Varadero, Cuba. The meeting is in conjunction with the III International Seminar on Agricultural Health.
EEID 2018
The APS Public Policy Board was recently notified that the Ecology and Evolution of Infectious Diseases (EEID) program is seeking proposals. This multiagency program funds awards through USDA NIFA, as well as the NSF, NIH, and international partners BBSRC (UK), NSFC (China), and BSF (Israel).
The second submission of PDMR, Vol. 12 includes 236 new reports on topics ranging from tropical crops to turfgrass. Access these and more than 10,000 other reports with a PMN subscription. The next submission period begins November 5.
