  *Notes to poster presenters:
  
• ​Submit poster file as a png file that is less than 5mb in size.
• Gather.town recommends 16:9 aspect ratio, but this isn't required.
• The minimum width is 1000 px (24.46 cm) and the minimum height is 600 px (15.88 cm).
• Do not have a transparent background for your poster.
• Also submit a 'preview image' of your poster (suggestion: cut out of just the poster title). The preview image must be a png file less than 200kb.​
  
  
• Registration Deadline - Deadline to register for Industry and Extension Meeting and​ Careers 101 Workshop. (Late registration begins February 23, 2022.)
  
  
• Graduate Student Awards Application Submission Deadline for Student Travel Award Competition - Back after a two-year hiatus! Please refer to the Award page​;for additional information and submission guidelines.

• Careers 101 Workshop: Interviews - Interviews are a critical step in the hiring process, but there are tips and tricks to assure a successful interview. This workshop will provide students and early career professionals with an overview of the process and guidelines for preparing for job interviews in academia, government, and industry. The workshop includes an interactive mock interview session using common interview questions. Workshop is intended for early career professionals, postdocs, and students. It will be held over zoom on Wednesday March 23 from 3-5 pm. Please register by March 1, 2022, to reserve a spot for this event. • Nomination Submission Deadline For Distinguished Service Award - We are gathering nomination for the Potomac Division Distinguished Service Award. Nomination material should include a biographical sketch of the nominee's academic background and contributions to the Potomac Division.
