The 59th Meeting of the APS Caribbean Divison is jointly organized by the Asociación Argentina de Fitopatólogos (Argentine Association of Phytopathologists). The meeting will take place virtually.

The main goals are knowledge and experience exchange among AAF and APS partners, and other scientists and technicians interested in the present and future of phytopathology.
The meeting theme, ‘Crop diversity, plant health and sustainability’ is a challenge to generate awareness on sustainability for all the production related systems by developing research projects that reflect a balance between growth, environment and society.

Graduate Student Presentation Competition
Notification Deadline: June 30, 2021
The APS Caribbean Division encourage Postdoctoral and Graduate students to participate in an oral and poster competition. The winner of the oral competition will receipt a travel award and represent the APS Caribbean in the special session: Plant Pathologists of the Future: Showcasing Graduate Student Presentation Winners from APS Division Meetings in the APS Meeting in Pittsburg, PA, August 6-10, 2022.
Oral presentation awards:
- 1st Place: $500 + Travel award ($1000)
- 2nd place: $500
- 3rd Place: $300
Poster presentation award:
Several APS and APS Caribbean division membership awards will also be offered
