Given the increased activities of the APS Public Policy Board (PPB), we are regularly contacted for our input on national priorities. One such event took place yesterday, November 20. I represented APS at the USDA CSREES Stakeholders' Meeting in Washington, DC. In preparation, I worked with the PPB on the key priorities in plant pathology APS is working toward related to CSREES and we developed a one-page document and presentation. The meeting was very effective and we were able to reinforce the key priorities of APS.
