Digital images should be high resolution .jpg or .tif files (preferably at least 300 dpi at a size of 3 × 4 in.).

D. Copyright Release

These images are intended for use on the World Wide Web and as such are easily copied. APS will discourage distribution and any usage other than noncommercial, personal use. Either copyright transfer or statement of public domain is a REQUIREMENT for publication as an APSnet Image of the Week. See rights and allowances of transfer of copyright in the transfer statement below.
