Resistance of Black Hull-less barley (Hordeum vulgare) to Puccinia graminis f. sp. secalis was studied in crosses with susceptible cultivars Larker, Beacon, and Glenn. Segregation ratios of F2 plants and F3 families were consistent with the segregation of a single gene with the recessive allele conferring resistance.
