Fusarium equiseti—A New Cause of Cumin Spice Plant Wilt in Israel. R. Reuveni, Research Plant Pathologist, Division of Plant Pathology, Agricultural Research Organization, Newe Ya’ar Regional Experiment Station, Haifa 31-999, Israel. Plant Dis. 66:498-499. Accepted for publication 9 September 1981. Copyright 1982 American Phytopathological Society. DOI: 10.1094/PD-66-498.

Fusarium equiseti was isolated from wilted cumin (Cuminum cyminum) spice plants grown in infested soils. The incidence and number of fungus propagules in field soil, determined by plating, was related to the number of plants wilted and killed by the pathogen.
