Isolates of the cucurbit powdery mildew fungus, Sphaeroiheca fuliginea, resistant lo triadimefon (able to grow on leaf disks treated with 50 mg/ml) and isolates resistant to benomyl (200 mg/ml) were found in commercial production fields and research plots that had not been treated with these fungicides in California, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, and New York in 1993 and 1994.
