RICHARD BELANGER IN QUEBEC. Hope you see this--I tried your e-mail and it kept kicking back on me. You requested infomation on the history of late blight and the Irish famine. Last fall there was a PBS special called the THE GREAT IRISH FAMINE. You might be able to get a copy of that. If not get in touch with me and we see if we can work something out. Also one of the most complete books on the Irish famine is called THE GREAT HUNGER by Cecil Woodhamm Smith and published by Harper & Row, New York. It is very English but well worth the effort.
