A Peer-Reviewed,
Multidisciplinary, Online Journal
According to the 1998 APS members survey, the
society's two most significant issues for the future are integration with other
disciplines, and improving electronic communication. These concerns have
been addressed by www.planthealthprogress.org.
Plant Health Progress is a new, totally online journal dedicated to plant health maintenance.
The journal is multidisciplinary, integrating current information on abiotic disorders,
insects, diseases, nematodes, weeds, integrated pest management, nutrients,
regulatory issues, and industry and product news.
Serving Plant Health
Practitioners
Plant Health Progress is intended to
serve the entire plant health community. Our audience includes public and private practitioners, growers,
diagnosticians, researchers, advisors, field personnel, manufacturers,
regulatory officials, and public policy makers. The journal centers on plant health information as it affects
agriculture, horticulture, forestry, industry, and society.
The journal's major article categories include topical reviews, diagnostic and management information,
applied research, plant health notes, product and industry news, and opinions.
The reviews, diagnostic, management, research, and notes sections
of Plant Health Progress are fully peer reviewed and qualify as citable
publications. The use of digital object identifiers assures perpetual, archival
access to back issues.
