Three key
components of the newly-revised APSnet are APS's journals: Phytopathology,
the premier international journal for publication of articles on fundamental
research regarding plant diseases; Plant
Disease, a leading
international journal of applied plant pathology; and Molecular
Plant-Microbe Interactions, which publishes significant research on the molecular genetics
and molecular biology of the interactions of microbes and plants. In addition,
the monthly newsletter of APS, Phytopathology
News, is online, providing current coverage of society
activities.
Open
Access to Searches,
Tables of Contents, Abstracts, and Interpretive Summaries
While access to full-text articles is limited
to online subscribers, tables of contents, abstracts, sample issues, and search
capabilities of all three journals are available to all. Plant Disease publishes online interpretive summaries of articles appearing in the print
journal that are also open to the public.
e-Xtras Enhance the
Online Versions of APS Journals
In addition to full-text articles as they
appear in print, subscribers to the online journals will see "e-Xtra"
options designed to enhance the usefulness of the online versions. Authors may
publish figures in color online that appear in black-and-white in print, and
abstracts may contain up to five external links to public databases, such as
GenBank, or other approved web sites. Supplemental materials, such as additional
tables or figures, may be linked to the online abstract. Online Disease Notes
may contain up to two figures not published in print. All subscribers have
access to electronic archival issues back to 1997 and will be notified by e-mail
when a new issue is available.
Please check out all of APS's online journals. Instructions for authors and subscription information are easily
accessible.
