EPA draft rule to add PVCP-PIPs to protectants exemptions

Four NPDRS Recovery Plans Posted. The USDA National Plant Disease Recovery System (NPDRS) has completed and posted online four recovery plans. Each disease-specific plan is intended to provide a brief primer on the disease, assess the status of critical recovery components, and identify disease management research, extension, and education needs. Updates will continue to be incorporated and additional plans will be forthcoming. Please send any comments or recommended changes to Kent Smith.

The USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service is seeking public comments by December 26, 2006 on the paperwork and regulatory burdens associated with the extension of an existing Information Collection Request, titled "Plum Pox Compensation." Information in the October 27 Federal Register.
