USDA Issues Interim Rule regarding citrus canker quarantine; EPA announces Reregistration Eligibility Decision for PCNB

The USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service has issued an interim rule which took effect on August 1 and upon which public comments are sought by October 2, 2006 which amends the citrus canker regulations to list the entire State of Florida as a quarantined area for citrus canker and to amend the requirements for the movement of regulated articles from Florida now that the eradication of citrus canker in Florida is no longer being carried out as an objective.
