Final Rule amending Karnal bunt requirements

The USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service has issued a Final Rule which amends its Karnal bunt regulations regarding requirements that must be met for a field or area to be removed from regulated areas list. The changes allow a field to qualify for release after five cumulative years of specified management practices, rather than five consecutive years, and reorganize the manner in which those management practices are described.
