The USDA Animal and Plant
Health Inspection Service seeks public comments by December 12, 2005 on a
proposed rule to amend the regulations governing the importation of fruits and
vegetables, in order to allow certain types of peppers grown in approved
registered production sites in Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras,
and Nicaragua to be imported into the United States without treatment. Complete
