PMN Announces Forage and Grazinglands
The PLANT
MANAGEMENT NETWORK announces the launch of a new journal, Forage and
Grazinglands, effective August 7, 2003. Sponsored by the Crop Science Society of
America and the American Society of Agronomy, the new peer-reviewed journal can
be accessed at www.forageandgrazinglands.org. Forage and Grazinglands is calling
for submissions in the areas of forage, range, grazing, and conservation
management. Peer-reviewed article categories include research, reviews, guides,
and briefs. There are, also, sections for variety trials, perspectives, letters,
and news.
Like other PMN journals, Forage and Grazinglands is totally electronic and
provides authors a peer-reviewed, permanent citation; fast, real-time
publication; worldwide readership; no page charges; free use of color; e-mail
links to authors; linkable citations; and a complimentary PDF copy of their
completed article. Editor Michael Casler, USDA-ARS Dairy Forage Research Center,
states, “Our goal is to provide new, timely, and relevant information to the
broad community of forage and grazinglands professionals and practitioners.”
Submission guidelines and a complete listing of the editorial board are
available online.
Together with its other journals, Plant Health Progress and Crop Management, and
its many other online resources, the PLANT MANAGEMENT NETWORK,
www.plantmanagementnetwork. org, is truly becoming the first-stop resource for
applied plant and agricultural management information. By offering materials
across disciplines, PMN serves practitioners who have a broad range of
responsibilities. Among its audience are consultants, advisers, managers,
extension personnel, field
representatives, producers, researchers, and educators worldwide. For more
information, inquire at editorialoffice@plantmanagementnetwork.org.
