This special session, held in conjunction with the APS Annual Meeting each year, provides an opportunity to increase the awareness of the Master Gardener volunteers in each state with the expertise and information that is available from plant pathologists. The session funded by OPRO and is chaired by a member of the APS Extension Committee who coordinates with the local Master Gardener organizations via a venue that is close to the location of the annual meeting. Members provide short presentations on topics such as:
These presentations are followed by time for the experts to address various local questions and answers. Attendees are also encouraged to bring in their disease specimens for identification.
