The American Phytopathological Society (APS) is a vibrant and active professional society for plant pathologists. It offers fellowship, linkages, scientific leadership, and a large range of benefits and products to members. APS is now seeking to expand its membership. The group membership plan has been designed to facilitate access and attract plant pathologists in universities or institutions in developing countries around the world.

One membership fee can be used to register up to five plant pathologists employed by a governmental or non-governmental agency, or university in a developing country. For a listing of
qualifying countries click here.

The member who organizes the application will be the only one to receive the publications that come with the membership (including the monthly member newsletter Phytopathology News), and will arrange to share them with the other members.

Each of the group members is eligible for APS member benefits:

  • APS press journals and books at reduced cost
  • Significantly lower publication page charges
  • Reduced registration costs for courses, workshops, and APS annual meetings
  • Access to online journals at special member rates
  • The biannual APS Office of International Programs Newsletter
  • Each of the group members will be in the APS membership directory, facilitating communications linkages with colleagues and collaborators around the world!

IT IS EASY TO APPLY!
