- Graduate student research awards (paper presentation): First place went to S.C. Marine (Virginia Tech). second place to M.J. Schall, Pennsylvania State University
- Elections: Kate Everts is our Division Councilor-elect, and David Schmale will be the new Secretary-Treasurer
- The Memorial Fund Travel Award went to Jianjun Feng, Ft Detrick
- Division Distinguished Service Awards were presented to Bob Mulrooney and Bill Bruckart

Deadlines (2007)
- February 15: deadline for receipt of Student Travel Award applications
- February 15: deadline for receipt of applications for the Potomac Division Thesis Research Award.
- February 19: a block of rooms is reserved at The Inn at Virginia Tech until February 19 at a rate of $90.00
- February 23 (extended to March 5): deadline to submit titles for contributed papers, including student competition papers
- February 28: abstracts for student competition papers due
- March 1: registration deadline to receive the early-registration discount. Registration form
