Cancelled due to previous day's snow: Forest Pathology Tour, Washington, DC, organized by Dale Bergdahl and Bill Macdonald, and led by Rob Defeo and Jim Sherald of the National Park Service. This field trip will provide a unique opportunity to focus on a variety of urban forestry is-sues including site preparation, species selection, and management. Landscaping as-sociated with the FDR and Korean War Veteran Memorials will be the focus of the tour. Additionally, Dutch elm disease management, the threat of elm yellows and other shade tree maladies will be discussed.
