2010 APS Potomac Division Meeting

The annual meeting of the APS Potomac Division will be held March 24-26, 2010 at the Carousel Hotel in Ocean City, Maryland. More information regarding the venue can be found at: http://www.carouselhotel.com/

Premlinary Program (as of February 1, 2010)

Topics for the 2010 meeting will include outstanding research programs in the Potomac Division, commercialization of GE crops with pathogen derived resistance, how genomics can aid diagnostics, imaging technologies for plant pathology, and the traditional graduate student paper competition.

The DEADLINE for submitting abstracts is March 8, 2010!
You are invited to submit abstracts for the 2010 Potomac Division Meeting.  Abstracts must be submitted online (see instructions below), and the $50 fee applies for your submission(s) if you would like your abstract published and will be collected when you register for the meeting.  We encourage students to participate in the competition - please check the box "This paper is for the student paper competition" in the online submission form. Below are the instructions for submitting your abstract:

1) Go to: http://meeting.apsnet.org/Login.cfm 
2) Enter Username and Password (call APS Headquarters toll free at 1-800-481-2698 if you have forgotten it or need assistance)
3) Click Submit/Edit/Review Abstract
4) Click on APS Potomac Division 2010 Meeting
5) Scroll to the top of the page and start with entering the contributor information
(also verify that your name and ID number appear at the top in bold)
