Register via fax or mail. Student Members of FPS must register for the meeting via fax or mail. FPS regular members, APS regular and student members, and APS Caribbean Division members can register via fax, mail, or online.

Abstract Information

The DEADLINE for submitting abstracts was April 24, 2009!  You are invited to submit abstracts for the 2009 joint meeting of the APS Caribbean Division and Florida Phytopathological Society. Registrants can give an oral presentation without submitting an abstract. If an abstract is submitted online and payment is remitted, it will be published with APS.  An on-site student paper competition will be open to all students associated with either group. The official language of the meeting is English. “We encourage students to participate in the competition - please check box "This presentation is for the student competition" in the online submission form.
 
Below are the instructions for submitting your abstract:

1) Go to: http://meeting.apsnet.org/Login.cfm 
    APS Members can login use your username/password when
    submitting an abstract.  If you are not a member of APS or have
    not established an account with us, please click SIGN-UP under the
    New Users section of the abstract submission form.

2) Enter Username and Password (call APS Headquarters toll free at
    1-800-481-2698 if you have forgotten it or need assistance)
3) Click Submit/Edit/Review Abstract
4) Click on APS Caribbean Division 2009 Meeting
5) Scroll to the top of the page and start with entering the contributor
     information
(also verify that your name and ID number appear at the top in bold)

Wellman Award

The American Phytopathological Society - Caribbean Division (APS-CD) grants it’s most prestigious award, the Frederick L. Wellman Award, to an active member of the Society for his or her contributions to the science of plant pathology in the Caribbean – Latin America area, his or her contributions to the parent society, in general, and in particular to the Caribbean Division of the APS.
