The S. litura and littoralis identification workshop will emphasize key features for identification of adults. Other native species that will be discussed due to their potential attraction to available lures include the following: S. dolichos, ornithogalli, pulchella, latifascia, eridania, and albula. Some larval characters will be mentioned, but an emphasis will be placed on adult identification. Participants will learn wing diagnostics, as well as preparation, dissection, and examination of genitalic characters. Space limited to 30 participants. Advance registration required.
