Historic Milwaukee City Tour
Sunday, July 28, 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

This excursion is a guided motor coach tour of the city, including a guided tour of the Frederick Pabst Mansion. You will experience the rich heritage of this city, as reflected in the various forms of architecture. Included are the Domes, the new stadium, Marquette University, the East Side and lakefront. History and growth of Milwaukee's summer festivals will be highlighted along with the Great Circus parade…a one-of-a-kind event. After lunch at Saz's State House, we will visit and tour the Pabst Mansion. Built in 1892 by beer tycoon Frederick Pabst, this Flemish Renaissance mansion was once considered the jewel of Milwaukee's famous avenue of mansions. All of the interior rooms are carefully restored with period furniture. The mansion features exquisite craftsmanship with particular attention paid to the wood, glass, and ironwork throughout the home, creating an authentic replica of a Victorian mansion. Nationally recognized as a "house museum." Tour includes round-trip transportation, admissions, and lunch at Saz's State House with your choice of entrees. Cost per person: $38.00. See #19 on the registration form.
