Giving Options
There are a variety of ways in which you can contribute.
All Donations: If a particular
Fund seems important to you, you can designate that your donation be
applied to that fund, or simply be applied where it is most needed.
You
can donate in one lump sum, or make regular contributions.
Alternative donations: In addition to cash donations, there are several other ways to
give to the APS Foundation. Your gift could be: Stocks and annuities
Bequests in your will
Insurance Trusts
Establishing a fund: You could also designate your donation to be used to establish a new Student
Travel Fund. Guidelines are available.
Recognition: We appreciate all gifts and recognize our donors in the following
giving levels:
Contributor Club $ 1 - 99
Century Club $ 100 - 249
Patron Club $ 250 - 499
Five Hundred Club $ 500 - 999
Millennium Club $1,000 - 2,499
President's Club $2,500
- 4,999
Five K Club $5,000 - 9,999
Executive Club $10,000 +
Contributions accumulate over time and donor status changes when a
higher honorary level is reached. Contributors are recognized in Phytopathology
News and a special event is held each year at the Annual Meeting to
honor members of the Millennium, President's and Executive Clubs.
Your contribution is tax deductible if you are a U.S. citizen and
itemize. Consult your tax advisor on how the current law applies to you.
