The first benomyl spray pushes the level of resistance from its original 10% to nearly 30%.
Then the continued release of ascospores that are 10% resistant dilutes the resistance,
and the level of resistance drops as the benomyl weathers away. The second spray
of benomyl bumps the level of resistance up again, but as the residues of benomyl disappear,
resistance levels off and stays constant at about 40%.
