Disease: tomato spotted wilt
Pathogen: Tomato spotted wilt virus (TSWV)
Hosts: peanut, many herbaceous ornamentals and vegetables

Concentric ringspots are a prominent symptom on peanut plants infected by Tomato spotted wilt virus (TSWV). TSWV infects a wide range of horticultural and agronomic hosts and causes serious disease losses in both greenhouse and field situations. TSWV, also, replicates in the thrips species which vector it from host to host. Control of TSWV is often difficult and should include strategies for management of its thrips vector.
