Pest Pros is an independent crop consulting and plant disease diagnostic laboratory, specializing in integrated crop management of vegetables. We offer consulting in the areas of pest management, fertility, cultural practices and storage management on potatoes, carrots, onions peppers and mint. Pest Pros operates its own plant disease lab with an emphasis on assays for plant parasitic nematodes and soil borne pathogens. We are exploring commercial applications for using RT-PCR in pest management including: aerial monitoring of soybean rust deposition by storm fronts and precipitation, vegetable storage risk indexing, soil pathogen detection and enumeration, and nematode species identification.
