Help celebrate 100 Years of APS!


A Centennial Committee has already been formed to plan special events, historical displays, and publications. While the Council of APS has authorized funds towards this special meeting, we would like to ask for contributions to make this meeting truly a memorable event. Our goal is to raise at least $100,000. Contributions can be made over a 3 year period (2006-2008) or however you choose. Four levels are proposed:
 
Gold Sponsor $15,000 ($5,000/year for 3 years)
Silver Sponsor $7,500 ($2,500/year for 3 years)
Bronze Sponsor $3,000 ($1,000/year for 3 years)
Sponsor $1,000


These contributions will be dedicated to the extraordinary expenses associated with the Centennial celebration. Normal contributions for the Graduate Student Breakfast, Industry Social, etc. will be separate.

 

Contributors will be recognized in the program and on posters. The committee is also considering other avenues of recognition such as a display of antique lab equipment could be “brought to you by XX company.”

 

We welcome your ideas on souvenirs for the registrants or other in-kind contributions.
