The OIP Library Donation Program provides APS publications to developing country libraries and institutions which do not have access or cannot afford to pay subscription fees. OIP assists APS members who wish to donate APS journals to designated libraries. OIP also serves as the point of contact for distributing APS publications on CD-ROM to developing countries.
This program has benefited many institutions, a full report of activity since 2003 is available for review. Special thanks to all the recent APS-OIP Library Assistance Program Donors!

I have received the books and other publications that APS donated to us, I am most sincerely thankful for your donation. We have virtually no pathology books in our university library. Thank you so much. If you have any additional books, kindly send them to me and they will go a long way in equipping our rather poorly stocked library. Thank you.

I would like to thank you for the publications you sent to our library at the National Center for Agricultural Research & Extension. As an agricultural specialized library we always welcome any additional publications that help support our library collections. So, it would be greatly appreciated if you send us more publications. Thank you for your cooperation. Khawla Khatib, Director Assistant The National Library for Agricultural Information The National Center for Agricultural Research & ExtensionJORDANThis appreciation letter is issued as an acknowledgement to the generosity of the Office of International Program of the American Phytopathological Society which kindly donated book collections to our library. All of these collections will be placed in the Library of our department which can be accessed by our students and lecturers. These collections will be very useful in achieving our goals to teach students using a problem-based learning strategy, which is heavily based on the availability of readings in order for students to understand plant pathology. Though internet is available, due to limited access to most full articles posted, we faced problems to provide wide access for students and staff. Therefore, the availability of these collections is greatly appreciated. On behalf of our students and staff, we thank you for such a very kind generosity, and we are looking forward to having more assistance in the future.

The Library Assistance Program of the Office of International Program of the American Phytopathological Society (APS) is a wonderful program to help the scientists, academics. Libraries, institutions with books, journals, CDs, compendia, etc., particularly in the developing countries those who can not afford to buy. Affordability should not be a constraint to put your mark in the scientific world and that has become a reality through the generosity of this particular program. The books I received through this program brought a real difference in my teaching and research capability. A big thank you to the Library Assistance Program.

I would like to grab this opportunity and thank you for coordinating Library Assistance Program of APS. The issues of Plant Diseases Journal (from 1995 to 2005) donated by Dr. Paul Grooteman and coordinated by you were very helpful for our research Institute and many scientists and students are using these journals. We have kept them in our library and they will be useful for all people in this research institute. Thank you so much for your kind assistance and it would highly appreciated if you could support us more with scientific materials in future.
Dr. Mohammad Razavi Department of Plant Pathology Plant Pests and Diseases Research Institute IRAN
We would like to thank you for the book collection on Phytopathology and Plant Disease that you have donated for our department. The books are now placed at the faculty library. They are accessible for teachers and researchers from the faculty and the university as a whole, as well as for students, especially those preparing theirs masters or Ph.D.s. These scientific references will certainly be beneficial and useful for biologists at our faculty, and will help them get direct access to scientific articles.
