Instructions for Student competitions and Travel Awards Undergraduate Student Poster Competition Undergraduate students who are currently enrolled or have completed their B.Sc. degree no later than one year prior to the April annual meeting are eligible. To enter the competition applicants must register via phone or fax, indicate intent to enter this competition, and submit an abstract at http://abstracts.apsnet.org by March 15th, 2013. Research presented in the poster should be in an area of biology related to the field of plant pathology. The guidelines for poster preparation are the same as for the APS national meeting and can be found at www.apsnet.org. An Ad-Hoc Committee will judge applicants based on the quality of the abstract and oral presentation during the poster viewing session.Free pre-conference tour on Wednesday, April 3 from 1:00 - 3:30 pmHarpers Ferry National Historical Park/Old Town

Contributed Talks: We have reserved space on the agenda for a limited number of 10-20 minute contributed talks by attendees on Thursday morning, April 4, and Friday morning, April 5. If you would like to contribute a presentation, please e-mail Yilmaz Balci a title and/or brief description by Friday, March 15, 2013.
You are invited to submit abstracts for the 2013 Potomac Division Meeting. Abstracts must be submitted online (see instructions below). The $50 fee applies for your submission(s) if you would like your abstract published and will be collected when you register for the meeting. We encourage students to participate in the competition - please check the box "This paper is for the student paper competition" in the online submission form. Below are the instructions for submitting your abstract:
