2013 Final Meeting Program (posted April 2, 2013)
This year's meeting will feature symposia on "Prospects for incorporating stable disease resistance using genetically modified temperate tree fruits" and "Recent Advances in Biocontrol", as well as the student oral paper competition. We have also reserved space for contributed paper sessions for those who like to present their research findings. Our keynote speaker is Donald Nuss, giving a talk on “Mycoviruses at the fungal-plant interface” and Raymond J. St. Leger, will be our featured banquet speaker with a talk about "How to use a fungus to fight malaria".

Instructions for Student competitions and Travel Awards Undergraduate Student Poster Competition Undergraduate students who are currently enrolled or have completed their B.Sc. degree no later than one year prior to the April annual meeting are eligible. To enter the competition applicants must register via phone or fax, indicate intent to enter this competition, and submit an abstract at http://abstracts.apsnet.org by March 15th, 2013. Research presented in the poster should be in an area of biology related to the field of plant pathology. The guidelines for poster preparation are the same as for the APS national meeting and can be found at www.apsnet.org. The $50 fee applies for your submission(s) if you would like your abstract published and will be collected when you register for the meeting.
